When is the vote on illegal immigrant crackdown? Are they going to limit the amount of cigarettes that a person can buy a year? Next thing you know Bloomberg will want to mandate sensible foot wear.

Hey I'm OK with calorie counts, and labels. After that, it's buyer beware! Wow, WTF is going on in NYC? I used to think it was a cool town. I'm glad I don't live there. Then again Cleveland is also implementing more nanny state policies as well! Thank goodness for living in the burbs!

what the heck is happening to our freedoms I mean most Soft drinks are high in HFCS and if you drink nothing but Pop instead of fruit juice or the thing our bodies actually need plain old H2O.

I mean Japan has Vending machines that sell Beer and Germany has Beer on tap at Mcdonalds and why cant we have thos things or be allowed to get a Gallon size cup of Fountain pop at fast food places since they water it down anyways but I should have the fredom to get a ice Cold Beer with a Burger inside the Fast food Chains.
I mean staduims that have NFL, NHL, NBA, MLB all sell Beer, Burgers and Hotdogs and sure they price gouge you but they still sell it.

I am as Liberal as they come but regulating the size of a Big Gulp? If I really need a soda fix what is to prevent me from buying multiple sodas? I know the Mayor's intentions are good but if he is worried about obesity in NYC he could push for more fitness programs, parks, jogging trails, etc.
I think most Americans know that when you are eating at a Mickey D's you aren't getting the epitome of nutrition!

So if they regulate the size of jumbo sodas--are they going to prohibit someone from just buying, I don't know...two regular-sized sodas? Which would basically be the same thing?

Dumbest ban ever.
