Good. Anything to make the drug war look stupid is wonderful in my book.

Good the Police State eats one..... i am not for recreational smoking, but the guy has an established religion by the look of it.

I am all for the use of hemp to power and drive the world economy as it did for thousands of years pre oil.
I have no problem with any serious medical or other use, I am against it's recreational use only.

Why are you only against "recreational" use? Does it matter WHY people use something, and if it does, why don't we restrict alcohol and tobacco to those who "need" it? Adults should be free to do what they want with their bodies, as long as it's not hurting anyone else in the process... whether they're smoking to worship a god, to alleviate pain, or to simply get high shouldn't matter to the law. This reminds me of the abortion arguments, where people want to restrict it to those who've been raped (or where the mother and/or baby is in danger). Either it's legal or not, and the personal reasons for doing so shouldn't be considered IMO.

However, liberals are cheering Michelle Obama for trying to tell people what to eat.

Ahhhhh.....the irony

I am not conservative, and i think michelle obama should shut her piehole up. fix her own families eating habits 1st before telling anyone else.

Pretty much for the same reasons i don't want drunks out driving... I prefer to not be on the job with people who are drunk or high on drugs as well.

Right now just getting the weed legal for things should be the first step. That might be competing with oil to make oil, and items made of the oil, the old new hemp oil.

Maybe later in a time i could see my way to legalized and heavily taxed recreational smoking, with some notion to being responsible about it. i don't smoke it and so i don't want to pay taxes for a slew of LEO tooling like there is for drunks and or to suffer more illegal road side stops the cops like to set up as road blocks.

Responsible drunks is a misnomer and I feel the same about pot heads.
