It is the same thing a liberal colleague of me says. He says to tell you the truth on the subject, every time i hear that i wonder how many times he had lied in the past to tell the truth now. As with Obama i agree to be clear so what he is saying he has never been clear in the past thus as president he is incompetent or completely lied in the past when he says let me be clear .
I think he is emphasizing "let me be clear" as a result of his own admission that he is not a good communicator.
Effective communicator? Hardly. **** poor, in fact. Great prompter reader, though.
I think he speaks with an impressive cadence. I think Pat Buchanan said Obama is the best public speaker he's ever seen, so have many other prominent conservatives. So I have at least some company here.
Obviously we're getting very subjective here though. He does do the "ughhh" thing a lot, I'll give you that.
