To borrow an idea from our Republican friends, if they don't like what the government provides they can just bring their lunch to school instead of relying on government.

Now if that argument is good enough for food stamps why isn't it applicable to students lunches?

The story did say that some parents are supplying brown bag help to fill their kids up. I wonder how many parents of obese kids are doing this. If any are I don't think that Michelle's strategy has worked. Maybe the kid who griped because he isn't obese has a point.
