KEYE-TV - keyetv.com :: News - Top Stories - Ex-Security Team Leader In Libya: "Multiple Pleas" For "More, Not Less" Security Staff

So it sounds like Obama's State Department refused multiple pleas from Ambassador Stevens and his security personnel for more security in the 6 months before a terrorist attack on the anniversary of 911 happened....

Quote:
The former head of a Special Forces "Site Security Team" in Libya tells CBS News that in spite of multiple pleas from himself and other U.S. security officials on the ground for "more, not less" security personnel, the State Department removed as many as 34 people from the country in the six months before a terrorist attack in Benghazi that killed Ambassador Chris Stevens and three others.

Why would you joke about such a serious topic?

This is an impeachable offense. We have a lazy president who did not attend his intelligence briefings and ignored a warning from the Libyan government as well.

Oh...and LOOK....it's not an unnamed source saying it either (as if earlier reports of unnamed intelligence officials were lies because the media didn't OUT who the intelligence officials were).

If it is serious then why are you here trying to make partisan political hay from it?

Do you think it might have something to do with the fact that Congress is holding hearings today on this topic?

Of course, you were the same poster who didn't seem to know that the WH had finally admitted that it was a terrorist attack too.

You really ought to read or watch some news from time to time.

I guess you also didn't notice that the title of this FORUM is "Politics and Other Controversies".

Why are you even here if you don't want to read about politics and controversies?

I have a strange suspicion that City-Data created this forum just FOR posts like this....or am I somehow as misinformed as you are?

Political hay?

Wow - you really have a problem. Do you honestly think that people talk about issues only to benefit their party? That is a pretty sick way to view the world.

Americans were attacked and died because of serious lapses of judgment and inaction by this administration. Pointing that out has nothing to do with politics - it is a matter of national security.

It's time that you looked at our republic and its affairs in the world more seriously instead of the game that you apparenty perceive it to be.
