This is not about the internet. The internet is just a medium for harassment.
This IS about the internet, did you read the story? Are you aware that youtube is an INTERNET site? Yup, pure wussies. The only people that should be embarrassed are the ones like you who blame an inanimate object that can be turned off.
You're the person blaming an inanimate object for a suicide. The internet isn't the reason that Amanda Todd is dead. She's dead because she was sick of being harassed via many mediums, including the internet. Again, it's the perpetrators of the harassment who always have the lion's share of the blame, not the 13 year old female "wusses" who can't handle being physically beaten, tormented and stalked by pedophiles.

You completely side-stepped my point. I agree with what you're saying here in bold, but there's way more to it than that. I was taught the above, but I was also raised not to bully others. I was taught to have respect enough for others not to mock their suicide attempts and talk about how I hope they do go off and kill themselves. Looking at it from the standpoint of it only being a weakness on her part is dumbing a complex situation way down. Is it not disturbing to you that kids are being raised to act the way these kids were?
