Just watched Christie and Obama speak on CNN; Christie was doing a lot of nodding and smiling while Obama spoke. They appear to be getting along quite well in this difficult time.

I think the Governor and the President are doing a fantastic job right now. Working together to help people. When people are in need party lines don't really matter.

I would hope that they might get along under such circumstances... never the less the poser in thief will have a hard time looking presidential since it will be his unprecedented first time trying that.

Obama gotta GO!

In that case, you just missed it.

The president went to New Jersey, met w/ Christie and THEY are all working TOGETHER to help the people in NJ and NY.

They all appeared together in a televised statement. They both gave specifics on how they are working together. Christie has acknowledged and praised the president's help on several occasions.

Look, this is not a time to be sniping at the people on either side of the aisle who are genuinely trying to help those affected by this storm. That includes Obama, Christie, and the other government officials, FEMA, the Red Cross, all the way down to the volunteers clearing debris from streets. Get it? Time to come together, not time to divide on political lines. If Chris Christie can praise Obama, can you at least refrain from Limbaugh-like polemics?

Well, he is doing three things

1) He is keeping Obama off the campaign trail

2) He is looking like serious, no nonsense governor, who will work with anyone as long as the citizens of his state are taken care of, which will help him get reelected.

3) He is setting up great reelection photo ops, and campaign video clips.

Chris Christie: Obama ‘outstanding’ in response to Hurricane Sandy
Awesome but will he have to answer to the right wing hacks over this?

I'd rather see Christie as Pres than Romney or Ryan any day.
