At least our governor is competent, which is more than I can say for most politicians.

He is trying to get as many dollars as he can from the government to rebuild after the hurricane.
He is trying to make sure he gets re-elected in 2014.
He is trying to position himself for a White House run in 2016, since he knows Romney can not win next week.

I'm impressed with your governor. I think you're dang lucky to have him right now because he and the President are obviously working together. Both of them are putting aside politics to get help to the people who need it so desperately.

(I'm also impressed with the people of Jersey. You guys are a tough bunch.)

I haven't read you, so I have no idea how to take that comment.

In the long run what is important is the country, but right now storm victims and the infrastructure need a high place.

This would be best done with a real leader as president, which imo has been missing for nearly missing 4 years.

I have no idea what your opinion is, nor do i really care.

If i should then in time i will know. It might matter then.

Some folks here like me ok I guess, and others and I do not play well. Being PC isn't in my magic book of tricks.

Honesty is not something we have witnessed from this administration, and the latest fiasco, confirms this.

We still need to get to the truth about that whole lying situation, that is not to be forgotten!
Did you ever get the total count of how many dead in the covert operations and false wars under Bush (think in the thousands)? Honesty is a hallmark of Republican administrations???? Have we really gotten the truth about Iraq and the fiasco of WMD? I think other countries know a whole lot more about the real story than we gullible Americans ever will.

Oh cry me a river........ Obama has been campaigning for 3.75 years so far. he isn't going to put his hand mirror down now... Not even for this and mean it.

Christie will have no problem telling the right wing hacks to go pound sand. He seems to be a pragmatist first, republican second.

There can be no doubt that Christie has SAND!

It's too bad that storm didn't take out DC and take the corruption with it.
