If mexico had the same ability as iran then I wouldn't be worried, Iran has a horrible accuracy with their missiles that all they can do is take pot shots at isreal. If anything I'd be more angered with isreal while trying to talk and make peace with many of the middle eastern countries all the while the right wing leader of isreal is going about stealing people's property and disobeying an order from us TO STOP DOING THAT ! I'd say let them take Arizona and arrest Arpaio Or we could simply do the diplomatic thing and try reasoning with them and get them to be our ally instead of our enemy.

Let me get this straight: it's cool if British, Dutch and Germans rebel against the British Crown for independence; and it's cool if Spaniards rebel against Spain for independence (which they did in 1810)... but it is not cool if Texas rebels against Mexico?

The rebellion that started in 1810 finally ended around 1821, with the establishment of a new constitution in 1824.
Now, I'll reveal the facts that you deceitfully omitted:
1] Santa Anna abolished the constitution in 1835 and moved Mexico from a federal republic to a centralized unitary State --- the very same thing that Liberals have been trying to do for decades in the US....and that might be grounds for rebellion -- ya think?
2] Texas was not the only Mexican Republic (State) to declare independence. The Republic of Yucatan also declared its independence for the exact same reason Texas did.
3] Five other Mexican Republics (States) also declared independence (Mexico was established as a federal republic).
4] In total, seven Mexican States declared independence.
5] Since there were 24 Republics (States), the 7 Republics (States) represent ~30% of all Mexican Republics (States).
You make it sound like Evil Anglo Whitey started it, when the facts clearly paint a different picture. So why would you give something back to Mexicans, when they clearly never wanted to be part of Mexico and rebelled to get away?
