So do sessions of Congress. Does that make Congress godly?

Of course it is divinely inspired - that shouldn't be such a hard concept to grasp.

God bless the U.S.A.
That's like arguing that because you say grace at the dinner table that mon's tuna casserole was divinely inspired no matter how disgusting it was.

Sorry Harrier, the Constitution was inspired by a lot of study of different different forms of governance and some hard fought down and dirty political compromise.

Which books didn't make it into the Bible and why not? - Yahoo! Answers

Yes, there were Bible books that said men mated with angels. YEAHOOOOOOOOOO
No....they weren't in the Bible, so they weren't "Bible books".

I don't know what you mean by that term - but the fact that they pray does mean that the LORD is with the assembly of the Congress when they meet.

"Wherever two or more are gathered together in my name, there also am I".

- Matthew 18:20

The stories "in" the Bible weren't in the Bible. The "Bible" as you know it wasn't even created until 325 A.D. by a converted pagan.

To some degree modern classical liberalism's birth can be attributed to the Protestant Reformation. Of course, what the Protestant Reformation actually did was free individuals from religious tyranny.

As far as I can tell, there's little in the compact known as the U.S. constitution that is 'divinely inspired'.
Frankly, it gave away the family jewels to the bankers, via the restriction to gold and silver coin. In 1787, there were no domestic sources of precious metal sufficient to provide for the nation's coin. Which meant that from day one, the U.S. was dependent upon European bankers for bullion.

It wasn't until 1828, that Dahlonega became the site of the first major gold rush in the USA and became a boom town in the Georgia Gold Rush.

The connections seem pretty obvious to me: the Holy Trinity = three branches of government, the Ten Commandments = the Bill of Rights. Jeesh, do I need to draw you a picture?

I recall reading once that native tribes revered their madmen because they believed they were divinely inspired. I think Beck is divinely inspired.
