A national Jewish political group is circulating an online petition calling on the major television news organizations to cease hosting outspoken columnist Ann Coulter.
Coulter said earlier this week that Jews would be “perfected” if only they would embrace Christianity, and an angered National Jewish Democratic Council wants CNN, Fox News, NBC, CBS and ABC to stop giving her air time.
“We just want Jews to be perfected, as they say,” Coulter told host Donnie Deutsch Monday on CNBC’s The Big Idea. “That is what Christians consider themselves: perfected Jews.”
Coulter explained to a flabbergasted Deutsch: “As you know from the Old Testament, God was constantly getting fed up with humans for not being able to live up to all the laws. What Christians believe – this is just a statement of what the New Testament is – is that that’s why Christ came and died for our sins. Christians believe the Old Testament. (Jews) don’t believe our testament.”
Coulter had been asked by Deutsch what an ideal nation would look like. “It would look like New York City during the Republican National Convention,” she responded. “In fact, that’s what I think heaven is going to look like . . . People were happy. They’re Christian. They’re tolerant. They defend America.”
Deutsch asked her if she truly meant that everyone should be Christian. “Yes,” she said. He asked her again, and again she said “Yes.”
The National Jewish Democratic Council was quick to condemn the comments.

I mean, surely such comments were only made to rile up the left. Much like her comments about women a week or so ago. Ya know, because all women and Jewish people are leftists.
Frequently she comes off to me as practically a plant from the Democratic Party. She really does the Republican Party a disservice with her comments, the coming election is not unfolding very well as is. Losing more seats in the House and/or Senate due to angered voters won't help advance her causes.
I think that maybe at first she did talk about things that maybe people were afraid to talk about. But now I think she crossing some major lines. Maybe she has gotten to big. it happens to people I mean you look at Jim Jones he was a great preacher/pastor whatever then he got weird! Same with the Clintons we only know a small bit of what they have done.
If you listen and think about what she is saying , it is not derogatory to jews, when will libs get it through their heads christians love jews, Jews are Gods chosen people and as Coulter said they just dont believe in the new testament we wish they would so that they would be saved! Coulter has made tweeking liberals an art form! I will admit her calling johnny edwards a f*ggot was pushing it (to easy) but again she was proving a point!Burdell gives you all good advice!
