I think anyone is scared to drive through detroit. Heck one of the persons most scared to drive through a bad area is my liberal mother. She can't even drive through North Omaha because she claimed someone spit on her burger at a McDonalds. You'd think someone as tolerant as her wouldn't think blacks would do that.

Why would I be? I'm an American citizen and have the right to go wherever I want. Contrary to the musings of the loudest lunatics in politics, most people don't give a rat's ass about politics. The red vs. blue thing is a false dichotomy. We're still one country last time I checked.

The most liberal person i know lives in Salt Lake City. The most conservative lives in Santa Barbara. They seem to get along ok.

As a poor person, driving out of state is always scary. If you get ticketed you can be required to post bond and if you can't post bond you can be arrested and held until your ticket is resolved.

Some auto clubs (like AAA) cover these bonds up to a certain amount, which makes membership valuable to people who would have difficulty posting cash bond,
