My understanding of the news was that it was Hamas first, this time. They are always lobbing missles over the transom from what I have read. This time it has escalated.

I can't help but wonder if this is not due to our just passed elections in some way. May be Hamas thinks the US is in a weakened, noncommitted state and this is the time to push forward.....who knows. But it gets curiouser and curiouser....and scary as well. (I wish my career military brothers were still alive. I would love to hear what they think and they would BE frighteningly honest.....)

Bascially for the saqme reason we went into Bosnia ;europe in both WWi And WWII. To fight for the basic ideas our country is founded on wnd outr friends. I have to waqnder why we keep giving money to those who support terrorism lke the Palestians who do attacks of terror on civlians and use them has shields like we see now.Whne this is over they will go back to attckigbuses full of victims as always.

the cubans would be justified at lobbing whatever they could find towards miami if the usa was robbing part of cuba bit by bit , al jazeera is a small network with limited reach , we get the english version on satelite , i think ive watched it for about five mins in the five years i have it , the bbc is the most respected network in the world , i get all the mid east reports i need between it and our own national broadcaster RTE
