Does the Gaza have a beachfront? Perhaps Hamas could go out at night when everyone has left the beach, and set up on the sand. That way no harm will be done when the retaliation hits.

All Israel is concerned about is stopping them. If missiles were ring fired into Maine from Canada do you think the US would care if that action was popular?

Hamas doesn't care if its civilian casualties are high. They like using human shields in order to show the world the suffering of the Palestinians in Gaza.
They gave the Gaza to the Palestinians, and forcibly removed all of the Israelis, in the hopes of the promised peace. If someone was launching rockets in to your city, how would you go about stopping it?
They can either attempt to surgically remove the launch sites, or invade. Which one would kill more civilians? Israel will be blamed for defending themselves no matter what they do.
Gave Gaza to the Palestinians? Forcibly remove all of the Israelis? Didn't Palestinian Jews forcibly remove most of the Arabs in order to create Israel? Aren't Gaza and the West Bank the result of all the refugees created from this?
Why do you people keep denying what you did, and then scratch your head at why these people keep fighting? They are fighting for their culture, their heritage, their history. Death would be a welcome alternative to watching such things disappear.
Israel will never find peace if they don't stop thinking that if they are powerful and have modern weapons, they can wait in denial and eventually the problem will disappear.
Couldn't they strap a bunch of their garage-built rockets together and send Arafat's corpse into orbit instead of wasting all that money to find out who finally did the world a favor and got rid of him?
