Because it's a waste of money and we already have a Department of State to engage in diplomacy. That was easy. Next question.

I beg too differ. While it may not define all liberals, the liberal population, in general, holds SF out to be its leader in the liberal cause. It is the capital of liberalism and the "progressive" movement. People have a perception and if it comes from SF, the liberal community embraces it and is all for it. While this may not be true for all, it is true for the majority.

Stop using our military to wage unecessary wage and kill people.

You do realize that Saddam was not behind 9/11 and that the Vietnamese pose no actual threat to us?

Stop killing people in the name of stupidity. (Yes, I am one of those liberals who have an issue with your warmongering).

You have just created a circle jerk thread. Totally baseless, self serving and based on a political need to start crappy threads.

You mean like Obama's drone attacks. Oh I forgot, it's OK for a President with a (D) next to his name to wage senseless wars.

No, he hasn't. He created a legitimate thread and which many people feel that he is right, which I believe is a grave mistake. However, there are many warmongering Republicans still out there. In fact, Kristol is still ejaculating his opinion that kills more sperms than his love of Iraqis.

These people love war. They love death. They are sick. There is no way to rationalize with them.

BULLS**T!

If anything the quote by Kerry you cite expresses no hatred of the military but a disgust of those who misuse it in lame attempts at nation building or fighting other peoples' battles for them.

Since YOU make a lame attempt at making this a left/right issue I'll remind you that YOUR guy who professed to believe the military SHOULD NOT be used for nation building did a 180 and proceeded to do just that, much to the detriment of the country while the man you label as my party's PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE experienced FIRST HAND what a fool's errand fighting other peoples' wars is, something YOUR lame POTUS NEVER DID while 'bravely' defending those dangerous skies over Alabama.

You made the assertion, it's your job to prove it. You have totally failed at this point.

One of the main reasons why I voted for Gary Johnson. Obama is a warmongering asshat who hates transparency. His foreign policy record is atrocious.

So........
