I've been thinking about this topic for quite some time. Do you believe that an increase in interracial marriage between white men and black women would end racism? I ask, because white men and black women occupy two vastly different stratas in the Western world.
Would couple's like the one featured below, really make an impact, in your opinion?
Would it end racism? Of course not. In fact, it would likely cause more racism, not less, and you'd likely see a rise in hate crimes.
I am asking if an across the board increase in marriages between wm and bw would improve overall race relations. I do not see how this would increase hate crimes.

I don't see how it would affect race relations any more than any other interracial pairing would.

Are you kidding me?
Virtually no one enjoys seeing same race members of the opposite sex dating or marrying other races. Of course, because people are more PC these days, no one is going to openly say that, but the bottom line is that it's viewed as unfavorable in the minds of most people. An increase in this kind of interracial dating would result in white women disliking/hating black women more than they already do and result in black men disliking/hating white men more than the already do. So no, it would not improve race relations and would likely result in an increase in hate crimes.

As I pointed out, white men are typically viewed as occupying the top layer of the strata in the U.S., so I do think it would bring about some level of change.

White women don't seem to hate Asian American women, and Asian American women overwhelmingly marry white men.

What difference does that make? That has nothing to do with racism and you're only looking at racism from one angle instead of all angles.

That's because the white guys marrying Asian women are usually not the best of the best around, if you get what I'm saying. Most white guys marrying Asian women are usually white guys that couldn't land a top notch white woman.
However, if top notch white guys started dating and marrying Asian chicks, you'd see an increase in racism from white women...trust me on that.

I must be strange, but I really like seeing interracial couples, like the one featured in my original post.
