This sounds pretty damn racist to me!

Quote:
Limbaugh implied that ‘decades of liberalism’ had damaged the ‘American family’ and said examining the “real root of such things” would make “everybody too uncomfortable to hear.”
Quote:
Limbaugh also claimed that “we’re never get to get to the root causes of events like this” because “it might lead to charges of racism and discrimination.”

Limbaugh: Liberals Killed NFL Linebacker, Javon Belcher - YouTube

According to Rush, liberals (blacks) are the problem. Not domestic violence.

It's absurd to say that the person's skin color was the problem, no doubt. But it's also absurd to say that lack of gun control regulations were the problem.

Its absurd for a man on his fourth marriage to say that liberal lack of family values led to this murder-suicide!

limbaugh is not blaming black people, he is blaming the liberal culture in this country. it has gotten to the point where there are only victims and no personal responsibility.

What liberal is claiming Belcher was a victim?

Just one of many reasons I don't listen to anything Rush Limbaugh has to say. He once told a caller "take the bone out of your nose". Think about that.

One problem is that guns made it all too easy for this guy to kill his partner and then turn the pistol on himself, so that he wouldn't have to face responsibility for his actions.

Look, nobody's arguing guns are the only problem problem, but that fact isn't a valid defense of the perpetuation of a gun culture. We need to be less of a gun culture, not more.

I listened to the show. (and turned off the
video as soon as I saw what it was.)
As usual, what he said is not in the same universe
as what the stupid Young Turks videos claim.
There was no racism in anything he said.

He could have easily hit her with a bat or taken a knife and stabbed her, then slit his own throat. The problem is not the gun. The problem is the PERSON.

Did Limbaugh bring light to this during his show?

Quote:
Conservatives in the Republican party are rallying against funding resources for battered women, rape and sexual assault victims etc. They are vigorously lobbying against the bill calling it a “boondoggle” and an “expansion of government”. President Obama’s budget for this “expansion of government” to protect women from violence is $455 million a year;
Conservatives Lining Up Against the “Violence Against Women Act” ‹ I Acknowledge Class Warfare Exists

If you listened to his show, please tell us what point Limbaugh was trying to make.
