No, you can't wipe your ass with a coin.

Be careful about that one. Next thing you know, they'll be whining to put Hilary on a $3 coin.

$3 coin? Wouldn't that be Rosie O'Donnell, Ellen Degeneres, Jodie Foster, or Eleanor Roosevelt? (***** as a $3 bill)

Really? But Jackson, who as a boy fought in the Revolutionary War, and later served as a Major General in the War of 1812, including such triumphant victories as that against the British in New Orleans, along with his steadfast opposition to allowing an elitist banking cartel to subvert the United States of America somehow makes him one of the worst presidents?

What made Jackson so bad ... or as the other poster claims "despicable"?

Sandra Fluke should be on the new $1 coin. It can then be stored in bank vaults like the other 3 they've issued over the years.

No Washington should be on it as he is now on the bill. And a new $5 coin should feature Lincoln because they will not mint pennies much longer either. Obama will have to wait many decades for such an honor and only if he is accomplished extraordinary President. Just being the first black is not enough to earn a spot on the money. Reagan has not even got a spot yet has he?

I thought people had to be dead before they could be featured on US currency, coins or stamps.

I personally don't think that this is something that either Obama or Reagan have earned. Neither have distinquished themselves enough from their peers to be given such a high honor. Obama has a chance to do something special with the rest of his life, for Reagan the case is closed and he did not measure up.

I'm for ending all currency. Make money 100% electronic so every penny can be tracked. These self employed people rip off the government by dealing in cash big time, I see it every day. If they could tax every dollar of revenue legally the budget deficit would disappear. Cash is cumbersome and out of date.
