First, there is no link back to anyone who had knowledge about this supposed plan to have him committed.
Second, the story claims that the mother had already filed papers for a conservatorship, yet it also claims that the court has no knowledge of this. If you have filed papers in court, the court knows about it even if there hasn't been any kind of hearing yet.
We have no idea if this information will be borne out, but even without considering the source, there is no reason to believe the story at present.
I too was thinking that if she had filed papers already, that could be pretty easily verified by the court.
This is a question for the forum: If you had a child you feared, would you go a bit further than locking up your guns in the house in which you slept, while keeping the keys in that very same house? How many more cases of idiots keeping their guns in places where their children can easily find/access them to do harm to themselves or others before we create some legal consequences for their idiocy? In this case, the woman was self-punishing, but what about the ones where the idiot gunowners live?
You ain't kidding. That makes about as much sense as trying to hide presents for the holidays. Kids know what's going on in the house especially the older ones. They may not tell you but they know what's up.
I heard his mother's sister's cousin knew the gardener of the guy who worked at the grocery store owned by the man who once shined the shoes of the cleaner who laundered his shirts and he said Lanza was "scary looking".
On Breitbart? Seriously? When the last the time "the truth" came out on Breitbart?
This story has been on the news all day.

This would seem plausible.
Another example of why we laugh at them.

Breitfart is not a reputable source. Not saying the story isn't true, just saying I"m believing that rag that is known to purposely distort information.
Maybe the mother discussed it with father of the acquaintance, the area preacher, to get advice. That would make sense. Many locals talk to their preachers about problems.
Confidentiality requirements would rule out the preacher discussing other people's personal problems with family.
Maybe the kids represented the age when Adam began to be made fun of at school when he was a kid and that started his regression into becoming a lone...............a outcast. So he chose them to be executed.
If this is true (and that's a big if), then that's the motive for killing his mother. But, why the little kids?
So far the only sources I found are Fox News, Breitfart, and NY Daily Post - all right wing rags
Not saying it isn't true, just waiting for a legitimate news site to report it
