The first half was actually about Lanza's life, the second half was a big gun control ad.
The computer club teacher made the most sense. He thought Adam was doing better particularly being part of that club. It seems that he was really very antisocial as the teacher said it was a great step that he even stood next to others for the club picture.
Nancy Lanza seemed like a control freak who disagreed with those trying to help Adam, and did things that were detrimental to him, switching schools and pulling him out when he was doing better.

I skipped the second part completely.
Her friend described her as being very particular with regards to who was allowed to try to work with Adam. I got the impression she felt no one was good enough.
I found the Emails a tad creepy, I guess because we know how this story ended. She seemed rather self-absorbed, very little talk about her sons or husband, tons of stuff about her social life.
It wasn't bad, but I wish the segment was a bit longer or focused more on Adam, though I'm sure it's hard for them to find anyone that is willing to talk.
Do we know that? I've been waiting for information on where and how the guns were stored. Please tell us what you know.
The segment said the Lazna got the weapons "from where she kept them" so it's unknown if they were locked or just sitting in a closet, but it really doesn't matter as he was able to get ahold of them, when he never should have been able to do.

It matters. If they were locked in a gun safe and he had discovered how to find the key/combination before killing her, she had made every reasonable effort to keep them from him. If they were just kept in an unlocked clothes closet readily available, then she was negligent. It matters.
