Sandy Hook shooter Adam Lanza desperately wanted to join the Marines but was put off by his mother, according to reports.
Nancy Lanza, 52, was said to originally support her son's plans - hoping that military rigors would give him the focus and structure his life so badly needed.
However she soon changed her mind, realizing that her mentally unstable and introverted son would be unable to cope with the hardships of life in the Armed Forces.

How do you know. Shyness does not disqualify one from going into the military.

Why do they keep making this crap up and throwing it out there. I'm so tired of all the unsubstantiated BS the media just churns out no matter what.
