Evil people exist everywhere, in every country. But the continuous massacres and 9000 people killed by guns every year only exists in the US, not other industrialised countries.

While people may state that guns don't kill people and evil people do, the fact is evil people kill a lot more when they have guns. Supporting gun ownership is thus akin to allowing evil people to kill, and to kill more effectively and efficiently.

Gun owners - are you happy having the death of the school kids on your hands?

You need to take a class in logic. Your reasoning can be used to advocate banning almost everything. Cars, planes, trains, electricity, swimming pools, scissors, rope. Fairly close to every object on the planet has the potential to be used to kill someone. Reckless drivers would kill a lot less people if they didn't have cars. Less people would be hanged if we didn't have rope. By not advocating revoking all drivers licenses in the country, you are supporting fatal car crashes.

Cogent arguments can be made for restricting access to guns. But yours isn't one of them.

Sorry, but the Left is playing on emotion and exploiting the deaths of 26 innocent people to push their agenda, and it's disgusting. We live in a free society, and that is inherently more dangerous than police state. It's convenient for you to blame assault weapons, when the same massacre could have been committed with any number of firearms, many of them not classified as 'assault weapons' by politicians or the media. An individual, sickened by mental health issues, murdered innocent children. No amount of gun control is going to stop that from happening. Guns aren't the sickness that causes these tragedies to take place. Now is the time for the free citizens to stand up for our rights. We need to tell our government and our media that we will not surrender our rights, we will not sequester our liberties. We're citizens of the United States of America, our liberty is what sets us apart from our fellow man the world over, our rights are granted at birth and are protected by a constitution unique in this world before or since, our fathers, brothers, sisters, mothers, daughters, sons, grandfathers and grandmothers fought and died for our freedom, and we're god damned better than that.

Dismissing an argument as being illogical with a rebuttal devoid of logic itself doesn't work.

Knives, cars, planes, tacos - everything has the potential to kill someone. The difference is, guns were designed to kill people and can do so much more efficiently than a knife can.

I could/have/can kill someone with my bare hands.

It's not pretty at all.

I'd rather be shot myself.

Exploiting the deaths of those school kids, you must be so proud of yourself. Truly disgusting.
