The right to "free speech" is not absolute. You do not have the right to speech that wrongly defames innocent people, you do not have the right to "hate speech" or speech that calls for violence against innocent people, you do not have a right to speech that libels innocent people.

Your right to own guns also should not be absolute and, in my opinon and that of millions of other citizens, your right ends where your bullets enter the bodies of innocent little babies.
In 1776 we never had nuclear bombs

Realistically, there's absolutely nothing Obama can do. No measure limiting the RKBA will ever pass the House.

The gun makers should pay for them. The way our local high school sprawls over a few acres,10 policeman on duty might be able to keep the body count to under 3 dozen.Unless there`s more than one shooter.

Or handguns. Or semi-automatic weapons.

I see the Lefties think children aren't worth protecting like merchandise. That should be a no-brainer considering how they think about abortion.

Yep, that will get rid of the problem. Because no one ever kills any one else with any weapon other than a gun, right? Eliminate the guns and we'll have a peaceful society with no violence. Crazy people unable to find a gun will just sigh wistfully, wishing for the old days when the only weapon capable of causing harm or death, a gun, wasn't illegal, and give up the idea of killing people. They won't pick up a knife, or a gallon of gasoline, or the keys to their car, because they'll have no idea that those can be, and have been repeatedly in the past, deadly weapons.

Nah. Just tax firearms. Easy enough.

Yes - that was my point.

Why all the yelling? It reminds me of that scene from Anchorman.

You mean you are actually asking for a tax hike to pay for all these guards? The hypocrisy of the right never ceases to amaze me.
