According to the statistics releases by the Australian government the murder rates are down about 44% since the ban went into effect

And where would you draw that trend line?

Immediately after the ban it went up. The trend line begins in the mid 80s and possibly even the 60s .




Follows the same trend in the US.

Where is the gun control trend line?


The good news is it looks like Australians adjusted their behavior after the initial crime wave that made them defenseless victims. Don't do this and don't do that. Stay out of impoverished areas and take advantage of social isolation etc.
