Face it, its true. Thats why medicare and medicaid alone cost as much as other developed countries entire healthcare systems, and yet only provide for a minority of the population, thats why you have to invade countries like Iraq and steal their resources. Even your social security is a vast unfunded pyramid scheme.
A little constructive criticism, and you circle the wagons. Thats why 21st century america is a failure, you cant handle criticism.
I will have to comment on your statements about doing away with guns as the British managed to attempt to do. You people weren't dealing with a written Constitution when you did yours. Actually, none of those who have managed this were, either. Explain how you see what you said as the only way to go when a written part of our Constitution provides all those freedoms in writing.

So you are in favor of amending our Constitution in order to take away our guns. How easy will it be to take them up once that amending process takes place. Does your nation have a written constitution like the US does?
America was much more economically liberal after WWII up to Reagan and we were better off for it. We had a strong middle class, workers had stronger rights, incomes grew across all ranges, especially among the poor, and there was much more opportunity.
The last three decades, liberals have been marginalized and Conservatives have been in charge (even modern day Democrats are a center-right party). With the ushering in of neoliberalism, corporate globalization, and deregulation, America is not living up to its potential. We have an erosion of the middle class, reckless banking, scaling back on workers' right and safety nets, rising inequality, large segments of the population being left behind, and lower opportunity.
It is American liberals who want to strengthened and expand SS and Medicare, not attack them. As you said, other countries have adopted better health care policies. Liberals are not against learning from others and implementing these policies. We were in fact for a single payer or a PO, not a crummy recycled Republicans health care law.
American liberals are by and far disenfranchised and have been for decades (ever since Lying Bastard Johnson). Instead, Conservativism, neoliberalism, and center-right policies have dominated the American political landscape for the past three decades.
