Gregory Mocks LaPierre for Proposing Armed Guards, but Sends Kids to High-Security School | The Weekly Standard
Quote:
David Gregory mocked the NRA's Wayne LaPierre for proposing that armed guards be at every school in America. But the NBC host seems to have no problem with armed guards protecting his kids everyday where they attend school in Washington, D.C.
David Gregory is the arrogant Sunday morning talking head for NBC.

...with the Obama kids in attendance, there is a secret service presence at the institution, as well.

It is sad to see people totally incapable making up their own minds, and instead always parrot their party talking points.
Who, specifically, are you talking about?

Stop with the straw-man arguments, please.

i am talking about everyone who has been crying about TSA and added security for trains etc, and who is now trying to sell the idea that more armed guards is what the country needs. Make up your minds people.

The simpleminded who think otherwise are hate-filled lackeys for the NRA.

Get it right. It's the school with 11 armed guards. Not just his daughter. Sidwell Friends, school of the elite of D.C.- kids of senators, congressmen, CEO's, lobbyists and bascially the BSD's of D.C. It's generally a destination for these people because the school is used to having high profile kids there.

So your false outrage is disingenuous. You may as well be outraged that a steak knife is sharp.

Should we employ 11 armed guards for every two kids in the nation? Think about what you say for a second. Why don't you hire your own 11 armed guards for your kids. I dont want to pay for your paranoia.

It's the normal regiment for an elite prep school in Washington D.C. Sasha's not being flanked by 11 guards like Tyson coming out of the tunnel.
