One of the earliest reports from NBC reported that the shooter had 4 handguns inside the school and a shotgun and an AR in the car. That has circulated through all the gun forums. It seems as if later reports have shown that this was false...and that NBC was once again wrong. Even the police in Newtown should be able to tell the difference between 5.56 and common handgun cases.

I would be interested in learning more about this development. Particularly if it's true or not. If so, there are huge ramifications.

I also heard the initial news reports that "a rifle" was left in the back seat of the car, and that the shooter was using pistols during the massacre. It wasn't until much later, if not the next morning, that the media began reporting that the "rifle" was used in the attack, and that a "shotgun" was the weapon left in the car's back seat.

I pondered what the real truth was at that time. also.

Never let the truth get in the way of a good story.

The media is all about fueling their agenda, and
facts, truth, and ethics are small points on their
'importance scale'. They are sending a message
that 'black rifles' are bad and they don't want the
truth to get in the way.

We don't let them have ideas. Why would we let them have guns?

Sorry OP, but Rush was very wrong. Look it up, the bushmaster was the primary weapon used in the massacre. Quit listening to that idiot and you might actually learn the truth.
