Have you notice that since the Senate passed the Fiscal Cliff avoidance Bill some 12 hours ago, not a word out of Pelosi-Reid-Boehner in the way of support. I can understand Boehner's silence, he had his wings clipped by the GOP trying to introduce the last House Bill a few days ago. But for Pelosi-Reid, does that mean they do not support this compromise and that VP Bidden (the White House) are doing a run around the Dem leadership in Congress because of their lack of support and refusal to take leadership in the Compromise bill. What else could it be. If this is true, then we can see why any Compromise in the Congress is not possible. Have to congratulate the White House for achieving what the 'leaders' in both houses are unable to accomplish.

No one won there. When you have hours there are no solutions.
Like every other time..wait until the 11th hour, cobble together something pathetic and pat each other on the back for a job well done.

We don't need any knee jerk solutions at this point in time either... DHS could go away easy. It might be a good thing if BATFE and the EPA also go away...

I would think Obama would want the BATFE to be gone now! They are witness to Fast and Furious as it is..

TSA could go away too and it wouldn't hurt us a bit.. Cutting the chaff isn't a bad thing. Lots could be cut before we get to the grain...

Govt never does it that way. They go for the Kill because they don't want to make any deal ever..

Of course they supported it just like the majority of the Senate, now its up to the losers of the house to see whether they will choose to support the rich or the majority of Americans. Boner has no control over the house so it will be very interesting to see what they do.

Pelosi has said she supports it, Reid voted for it. At this point it seems the only thing left is if Boehner will allow an up or down vote on it or if he will only allow an up or down vote if it has a majority of the majority and not allow an up or down vote if it has enough votes to pass, but doesn't have majority Republican support.

You have to be kidding Boner does not have any conservative principles and will be looking for 12 {R}s to join him and the {D}s to pass it.
