Police Officer Cleared in Fatal Anaheim Shooting - Local News - Los Angeles, CA | NBC News

Anaheim officer cleared in killing of gang member | officer, her - News - The Orange County Register

The shooting was ruled "justifiable" after the Orange County DA conducted its usual sham investigation which invariably favors the thugs with badges.

However what I find interesting is that Hurtado used a Bushmaster AR-15 semi-automatic rifle.

Isn't that the same rifle that the gun grabbers are all up in arms(pun intended) over and want banned?

Why weren't they upset back in March when Mr. Hernandez was killed?

After all, isn't the argument from the left that the Bushmaster AR-15's availablity is responsible for deaths and not the willful intent of the shooter?

Where was the outrage last spring?

I also find it interesting that both stories - and in particular MSNBC - correctly refer to the Bushmaster AR-15 as a semi-automatic rifle.

However after Newtown and Aurora - the rifle was called an "assualt weapon" by the media.

It couldn't be more clearer that the media is pushing a political agenda - and capitalizing on a tragedy - and so is the Obama administration.

You gun fetishists need to find some new hobbies. There has to be more to life than your little tool of power.

I find it surprising, too. Why a Bushmaster AR15 and not a select fire M4? He could have mowed down all the homies.

I have no problem with LEO's justifiably shooting gang banging bad guys with A-15's as long as I am not banned to own one as well.

OP your off your rocker with this one though, the gangbanger was brandishing a shotgun at the officer. Death by cop so to speak.

They don't in Britain - nor in many villages in Alaska.

If the Bushmaster AR-15 is so "evil" because it is associated(read - not used) with the Newtown tragedy, then how come people who are opposed to its availability weren't upset when Mr. Hurtado used one to kill Mr. Hernandez?

Advocating for the right to use a tool that defends life and preserves liberty is a fetish?

Is the Anaheim cop, Mr. Hurtado, also a "gun-fetishist" because he used a firearm to kill Mr. Hernandez?

Too dang bad, the idiots hiding behind that little tool of power, are the problems, the gun does not pull the trigger itself!
