Never mind Obama, who will get 8 years at most, look at the Congressmen and the Courts.

LOL..employing prisoners is big business.
Aren't you happy with what YOUR government is doing ?

UNICOR Online | Services | Call Centers for Help Desk Support
Operating under a Department of Justice mandate to employ inmates in productive work, it is a self sustaining public corporation that receives no tax dollars.

Many call centers are "coming home". yeah..coming home to employ prisoners.
Three Alternatives to Your Offshore Call Center
Televerde’s call center agents are in-house. To be specific, they are in the “big house.” A leading B2B demand creation solutions company, Televerde partners with the Perryville state prison to employ the female inmates as call center operators. Not only is this a cost-effective alternative to offshore call centers, but it also serves as an innovative approach to rehabilitation.

Due to labor costs. The price of technology came down but the labor costs didn't so the labor had to be off shored to maintain the profit margin.

Laptops used to be pretty pricy and not all that common with the typical consumer.

I have always thought that if we can't compete with China, that is our fault, yes it is, but in a different way now. We do not enforce the labor laws we have on the books for imports from China. We look the other way, or I should say, our gov't chooses to do that. I think it's a matter of exposing this to the public, so we can make educated choices as consumers, to whether we continue to support slave labor. I truly had no idea this was so pervasive in China. If you can watch the first 15 min. of this video, you will see how cruel this system is. We, the consumers, have the power to change this.
