The Bible does actually condemn mixing the races, and homosexuality was not discovered until 1800 years after the Bible was written. Pagan prostitution and rape are not homosexuality.

It condemns specific same-gender sex acts like male rape (which was used by men to dominate and humiliate male strangers and prisoners of war) and temple prostitution and idolatrous ritual sex acts used in worshipping pagan fertility gods. It says nothing at all about homosexuality as a sexual orientation, or loving committed same-gender relationships.
The bible does not specifically state anyting about the homosexual lifestyle, but it does condemn homosexuality, along with all other sin such as greed, adultry, dishonesty, self-centeredness, etc etc ad nauseum - - point is, accoding to God, sin is sin is sin, and all of us sin. christians cherry pick the sins they want to pick on - mainly people who are "different" than them, and this is not the way a just God would view things - you can't pick which sins to attack, and which to ignore.
As to using religion to justify things, you can use anything to justify things - Christians have justified torture and murder, Islam presently justifies murder, torture, and terrorism, atheism - in the form of totalitarian states such as the Soviet union, red china, No. korea, Cambodia - have murdered MILLIONS - so you self-righteous atheists and agnostics can stop your indignation and finger-pointing at religious folks.
not really - to a born again christian, they hate to see someone live a lifestyle that, in their mind, will land them in hell - which is worse than a car bomb. They feel it is as much an obligation to say something as if there was a car bomb - this is what you can't seem to understand - - you are too worried about "being offended" and the like - - you just don't get the mindset - I understand you don't agree with it, but that's beside the point.
The irony is their own judgements will bring about judgement on themselves. Want to condemn gays with Leviticus? You better dang well follow all 613 Mitzvah. Want to condemn gays with Paul's letters? Well, then Paul says you're gay and will not escape judgement.

OK - the atheists and agnostics killed millions for whatever reason. Just saying that people always have and always will kill other people, sometimes mass murder. Religion, or lack of same, has absolutely nothing to do with it, but we are straying from topic here.
Actually, I agree with this "note". And I have no problem telling Chrisitans they are sucked in to an ancient, primitive, "early man" belief that is nonsense, and that it is religion - nowadays Islam - that makes the world the horrible place that it is. I was just trying to explain that this guy may, and I do say may, because maybe he was being an arrogant azz, really have been concerned about their eternity.
But would you give a note like that to a nice young Christian couple who had just eaten in your restaurant and paid you for their meal? Especially if the only reason you knew they were Christian was because they held hands and said grace quietly to themselves before they ate? If so, it would be extremely rude.
