Servicing the existing debt is not 100% of revenue flowing into the government. Debt payments get first priority and everything else gets cut.

Obama wins and America loses and the liberals cheer it all on. Then the claim the republicans have taken the economy hostage is raised while they cheer on obamacare which took control of on sixth of the US economy. Are liberals really this far gone? Sadly they are. They have become parrots who are told what to say and not question anything. Useful idiots one and all.

Obama has taken this economy hostage with his lies and I am saddened by the number of people who are too blind to see. He wants to tax our way out of this mess while adding more to the debt when it has already been shown that even if he quit spending their still aren't enough tax revenues to dig us out of this mess.

He has taken the economy hostage by his angry refusal to compromise on anything.

We are already seeing the writing on the wall as far as middle class tax increases yet still the left screams 'gut the rich'.

You don't you get it - when he says rich - he means middle class. Yes he throws around the rhetoric about the wealthy - but it is the middle class that will pay for his irresponsible spending - once he has reduced this nation to a 3rd world country will you still be cheering him then?

The economy NEEDS to crash. Time to reset the whole system and get back to the Constitution. If a program is not specifically enumerated then it gets CANCELLED and the responsbility (if any) is returned to the states. I wish liberals understood economics rather than posturing. But logic, facts and history seem to elude them at every turn, especially the Bozo in the White House.

The debate should be about the budget. The time to debate was during the fiscal cliff. The GOP thought they could do better with the debt ceiling, wrong again.

Our country is in debt over 100 trillion dollars. How much more would you like to spend?
