An Oregon sheriff has sent a letter to Vice President Joe Biden saying his department will not enforce any new gun laws it considers unconstitutional. Linn County Sheriff Tim Mueller, in his letter dated Monday, said politicians are “attempting to exploit the deaths of innocent victims” by supporting laws that would harm law-abiding Americans. The sheriff said he took an oath to support the Constitution, and laws preventing citizens from owning certain semi-automatic firearms and ammunition magazines would violate their rights.
Way to go Sheriff!!

Sounds like a good plan. Maybe we all should only follow the laws we like?

"Unconstitutionality" requires more than a casual take on any subject. It would be violation of oath to assume a personal stance on any subject that is not ruled to be unconstitutional. I guess, elected officials like this sheriff aren't expected to know that.

Sheriffs KNOW they cannot protect you 24/7/365.

Obama lies and says he can.

Even so far as bringing little kids on stage for his speech.

I'm supprized he even got one of their names right.

Biden looked dumbfounded and drunk or under the influence as always.

I was unaware that county sheriffs -- and not, you know, the Supreme Court -- were the ultimate arbiters of constitutionality.

Ya learn something new every day.
