If only Texas had more lenient gun laws this would have never happened. Story is from two days ago.

Maybe everyone should go around naked in sterile plastic bubbles so nothing bad can ever happen.

by looking at your link I would have thought her gun was taken from her and she was shot. when in fact that did not happen at all. instead in the confusion of her shooting at her attackers, one of the rounds hit her in the ankle.

looks like she did need to have the firearm to protect herself and her family from the hoodlums.

Another gun thread by someone who hasn't a clue.

Can you say with certainty what would have happened had she not had a gun? Would she have been raped? Murdered? Throat slit?

You don't know?

That's what I thought.

And another story , if only she had a gun

Quote:
A Union County woman was disarmed and shot with her own gun this afternoon when she reportedly confronted a home intruder, according to authorities

"The victim further stated that the intruder gained control of her firearm, and during the incident the homeowner was shot in the right shoulder," according to a news release from Butcher. "The unidentified suspect reportedly fled the scene."

This is clear case of someone with a gun that didnt want to use it.

If a person is in your home, and you own a gun, you need to make the decision to either use the gun or not touch the gun.

if you are not willing to kill the bad guy, do NOT under any circumstance TOUCH THE GUN.
