Odd since I thought "Death" would qualify as a "result of a massacre."

Yes, and I'm sure those mature 6 and 7 year olds came up with all of those thoughts on their own, with no input from their parents or tv whatsoever.

Want to know whats positive about the NRA's message? It promotes an idea that could help keep kids alive. Unless you are a deluded psychopath, thats viewed as a positive thing.

Mashed!!!!

You're not suggesting Obama was exploiting those children for political gain!!???

Next thing you know, you'll be suggesting Obama is exploiting the death of children to push a political agenda. That sure would make him a cold, cynical b@st@rd wouldn't it?

No wonder so many people despise him.

I have to agree. Tbis is gonna be an ugly kind of fight. No Maquis of Queensburry rules here. And I am sick to death of the "do it for the children" bit. I am armed for the sake of my children. Nuf said....

Christie called the ad “reprehensible” and said that the NRA should not be “dragging people’s children” into the gun control debate.

This man is the last hope for that three-legged wayward sheep of a party. He actually thinks before things come out of his mouth.

Here's the problem with that argument. You folks with Principles™, which is a dubious claim at best, don't simply disagree with others that you think are "wrong," you treat them as apostates, to be shunned and exiled from the tribe. That isn't disagreement, that is just doctrinalism at it is very worst. It is a requirement of political purity rarely found outside of Stalinist parties or theocratic regimes and has little place in a democratic society where compromise and intelectual discourse are essential. Most of the body politic understands that, when the "party of principle" figures it out, only god knows.

Either you don't have children or you just have some incredibly stupid ones because 6 and 7 year olds can be incredibly insightful.

And yet apparently since YOUR guy couldn't even get the GOP nomination - let alone the Presidency - "the people" certainly don't appear to want what YOU are selling.
