The NRA is just the latest "boogieman" that the American people are being convinced to hate.
This way the government can get what they want because they will be protecting you from the NRA boogieman.
Once they pass their legislation they will drop it and life will go on BAU.
Notice that doctors are not the evil boogieman anymore ? Obamacare is a done deal now, that's why.
The NRA is doing a very good job as portraying themselves as the boogieman.

The American people have had enough of the Neanderthal madness of the religion of the 2nd Amendment. The NRA as we have known it is going down to defeat and so will all who cling to the mindset that they share - a mindset that hasn't made any sense for American society for a hundred years.
There is absolutely no reason that the Republican party must be the party of guns and religion and it seems Christie understands that. They will jettison them or die.
Amen. Christie is truly a leader, in a party of sheep.

I will be watching him more closely as I see a glimmer of hope in our ultimately corrupt and polluted political process for the first time in a long time.
