On August 1, 2009–just seven months into President Barack Obama’s first term–former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, a lifelong member of the NRA, predicted Obama would attempt to leverage health care to “take away” the Second Amendment rights of Americans. She said:
"And by the way, [with] health care being so big in D.C. right now, be wary when some kind of tie-in occurs. Because it will crop up: a tie-in with guns in an attempt to take away our rights under the guise of some new health care plan. She was right 100% when speaking at a Alaskan NRA meeting. Palin's political foresight is truly amazing. She knows what and how liberals think. Obama has done exactly what she predicted he would do
And just for the record in case one of you libs want to try to disrupt the topic, it was Tina Fey who said "I can see Russia from my house" on SNL. Not Sarah Palin. Palin actually said " "They’re our next door neighbors and you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska, from an island in Alaska.". And Palin was right. Exactly. Here is Palin's first interview with Charlie Gibson in Sept 2008. He brings up heath care and asks her if she would support a ban on Assault Weapons. Listen to her answer and correlate it to what Obama did last week with his executive orders.
