You must have never watched MSNBC. That station is much, much further to the left than Fox News is to the right. Same thing with the New York Times and the Los Angeles Times. Far to the left.
Um, no. Not even remotely close. Fox News is more extreme than any "news" outlet could ever be.

I know it is difficult to think on your own but you really must give it a try! The White House is controlling the media and what is being fed to the people. Being a puppet has always been difficult for me especially from a elected official who's paycheck i pay

It always pains me to see how deeply divided such a great country as America is. Why can't you guys be working together instead of spending so much time and energy on slagging of the representatives, members and supporters of the "other party". I really don't get it. Who enjoys watching ad reading news media that is clearly biased (althouh in my opinion there is no major outlet which leans as far left as FOX news leans to the right)?
I know many Americans, conservatives and liberals, and most are fine people. Why can't you guys realize that it would be so much better to try and get along and work TOGETHER instead of against each other? Sure, argue passionatelly about the things you feel strongly about but don't lose sigh of the common goals.
I think a pragmatic, science based approach based on ethical values rather than one guided by traditional religious values for example would help. I think politics and religion don't mix. But that's me as an atheist and European speaking.
From some of the rhetoric here it seems there is lots of "hatred" mostly from the right towards the left and an equal amount of "disconnect" from the other side.
Guys, you live in a great country (no, I am not going to say "the gretaest country in the world") so stop the fighting ans start working together.
Your posted is garbage. It's obvious you are laying blame more so on the right with your comments.
When congress "worked together" they gave us the housing boom and bust that ruined the economy. How about people stay out of running others lives by using force and coercion. That's a good start.

Actually when Bill Clinton deregulated the Glass/Steagall act which was a bipartisan issue with a heavy coercion on everybody being able to buy a home from Clinton or I will veto it. This set into motion the BUST.
In 2001 Starting with President Bush calling attention to the supposed problem to be the Democrats denied any problems right on through to McCain campaign.

Like so many, you are seeing 'hatred' where there is frustration. I have traveled a great deal and I understand that the American right is not embraced by a world that mostly operates on a socialistic premise. I know that you have minority populations in Europe. Boy do I ever. But in America there is an historical divide that will always linger because it is used as a device to explain lack of prosperity instead of admitting lack of personal insentive. No one from Europe could possibly understand the division here. First it is the people and then the politics and not the other way around. Even as you attempted to be neutral in your post you did choose sides with what you wrote. Come what may........
I am, just raj
