I did not read the article. I read, " Could adults who want to exercise their Second Amendment freedom to own assault weapons" and stopped right there

I am very familiar with the Balt. Sun and know their positions AND agendas

The first question is to ask what does the Balt Sun consider an assault weapon.

Knowing the Sun, what THEY call an assault weapon is NOT an assault weapon which skews their position which makes the articles on guns mute.

This is a prime reason why we can't have a reasonable discussion with ant gunners.

I may be blind but I could NOT find 1 singe mention of an "assault weapon" in the article.

I did find, "Blevins said a rifle and handgun were recovered from the home. It appears that Hall died of a single gunshot wound to the chest, but an autopsy is pending, Blevins said."

Before you write about "assault rifles" you should understand and know what they actually are, and what you are talking about. You don't know either. No one in the USA can legally own an assault rifle without first buying a tax stamp for $200 from the federal government and undergoing a background check by the ATF. Automatic weapons have been outlawed in the United States for many years. Politicians and the news media call many guns that have been used for hunting purposes for years by the name "assault rifles", when you do that same thing, you show the rest of the readers your lack of intelligence.

They use the same tactic to ban full auto machine guns. My M-1925 that was my great grand fathers in WW-1, made it through the fog of bad laws.
Gangster weapons, was the assault weapon of the day.

The M-1925 was for sale to the public, from 1919-1934.

There are many 1000's of old military, fully auto guns in this nation, that the government will never know about.
Remember Ruby Ridge?

Don't bother instructing this "Refresh1" person about the truth. He's not interested.

He's just a troll, writing whatever the thinks will get the most reactions - the stupider the things he writes, the more the reaction and the happier he gets.

He likely doesn't believe half of what he writes. Again, he's not interested in the truth. So why waste your time on him?
