Obama's mentor Frank Marshall an avowed communist...I guarantee that if you were to give Obama sodium pentothal he would confess being a marxist.
Even if that were true, that doesn't make Obama a Communist or Marxist. As I said, you have no idea what those even are so you have no right in attempting to label anyone as a Communist or a Marxist.
It's cute to see you try time and time again though. So if we're going with your mentality, would that make a Republican in office a Fascist then? I mean if the shoe fits, right?

Typical Left? Dude, I'm an Independent/Moderate or for sake of ease I'm a Centrist. Not liberal, not conservative. And I'm not playing the race card - where did I ever mention anything about race in my post?
I didn't, though nice try. Now go read up on what Marxism is and who Karl Marx was before you blindly throw your bigoted crap everywhere. Unless that's too much for your brain to handle?
Oh yea, here we go. Oversimplification, ala "granny will DIE if we cut spending" liberals, complete with eye rolls.
The Oval Office has to bend to security concerns. What sort of breach of security happens if you use an image put out by the WH?
Figures, liberals are defending the Idiot-in-Chief. As his record with the Courts has shown, he's pretty much wrong about EVERYTHING.
The fact of the matter is that nothing is without limits or rules and usually its for good reason. The reason I used the White House example is because it's just as immature and silly as some of the claims I've seen on this thread.
Its saying you can do whatever you want for personal use, but like most private property, the NRA can't use it in a gun add without permission.
Overblown, half informed BS thread
I was like, did any one read the copyright notification? Its not for commercial use. Used in the Press; cool. Private use (where you aren't selling it, or using it to make money); cool.
but you can't use it to make money. So, no putting the image on shirts or coffee cups.

But the fact remains, the WH photos do not fall under copyright protected images. So, wanting it so, does not make it so. The fact of the matter is that there IS something without limits or rules, and that would be the images put out by the WH.
Actually yes, there is copyright on government documents. Ie a Government owning a patent or a trademark and actually owns a copyright.
Yes, taxpayers did pay for the pictures. Yes, taxpayers do own the pictures.
Who the hell do you think pays for the Executive Branch, the White House photographer, etc?
Barack Obama?
Everything that makes its way to the National Archives is a taxpayer owned entity. That's why taxpayers get to go and look and use and research at the National Archives.
And for the love of God, who said anything about a patent????? White House pictures are not subject to any ****ing patent.
Let me guess....you're a raging liberal whose intent is to defend this President at all costs, facts be damned, right??!
This is not private property, it belongs to no one. It's a gift to the world from the American people is the best way to describe it. They can't state what they have in that disclaimer. As far as the NRA using it for political commentary, depends on how they used it.
Private photos of the president do not belong to Americans. Never has, never will, unless they donate them.
