Rove has no political position. He is first and foremost a Party Man, whatever the GOP's represents isn't his concern. His only ideology is winning. He was happy to promote the TP and ride them to victory. Now that they're a growing liability, it's time for them to go.
I hate to make a Godwin comparison, but he reminds me a lot of Goebbels. Both knew how to motivate large groups to their ends, to use propaganda, to create a spectacle and master the Big Lie, and both were incredibly smart if flawed by their search for power.
Yup. As long as the money and power are there for Rove, he could care less which Republican wins. All he wants is a win.
All the professional campaign managers in both parties are just like him. They are all like profesional boxers; they don't care who their opponent is when they climb into the ring. Their only job is to knock the other guy out if they can. If they can't, they slip down a notch but don't quit the sport until they can't take the blows any more.
Now this is pretty funny, but even Rove has now realized the ultra-right wing teabaggers are costing the GOP direly at the elections from their radical stances. Rove looks like he will be reading the charge to purge the GOP of the plague that is destroying it.
"The organizers of American Crossroads hope to bring electoral victory to the Republican Party by defeating unelectable tea party candidates in GOP primary races. The new super PAC, called the Conservative Victory Project, will be run by American Crossroads president Steven Law and is supported by former Bush political adviser Karl Rove.
It's been widely know for years and is common knowledge. Rove/W are ultra right wing hacks. The teabaggers are off the charts right.
Only an idiot partisan hack would think rove is "fair and balanced."
"Widely known?" "Common knowledge?" Really? "Ultra right wing hacks?"
So, what is the measure you use (your "chart") to show that "Tea Party" supporters and activists (those are probabably the ones Barack Obama claims are "clining to their guns and religion," and bitter) are "ultra right wing?" What do you think they believe?
Our Constitution must be "ultra right wing," in your view, because the "Tea Party" believes it should be upheld, and our laws (and the laws governing government, the Constitution) obeyed. Yep ... pretty radical!
Oh, the "Tea Party" is racist now? How so? Can you give some examples of "racisim" in the Tea Party?
I don't think anyone else can, but maybe you know something.
Oh, well, perhaps Herman Cain is racist. After all, he was CEO of "Godfather Pizza." That sounds "racist" to me!
You know what really matters? PERCEPTION. Apparently the Tea Party appears to be racist. And that's what counts when it comes to election time.
Most people also perceive the current Tea Party members to be homophobic, to be older and not well educated (keep your socialist hands off my Medicare, remember that?), to be birthers among many other very rigid and regressive positions.
Remember, it's PERCEPTION which influences voters. The Tea Party is perceived to be a group of old white racists.
I don't know what he is, but he seems to be full of beans!
