Gee, that sounds an awful lot like what they said to Black people during segregation... why didn't they just eat somewhere else, when the stores had "Whites Only" signs? And yes, I did "compare" the two issues! Kinda hard not to, when people are practically using DIRECT quotes from the civil rights era.

I don't think they give a CRAP what somebody like you thinks of them, or their relationship... they just wanted a cake for their wedding. Keep your religion out of work, and don't open a public-serving business if you can't adhere to anti-discrimination laws. Period.
it's a religious thing though, and there is such a thing as religious freedom.

You do have the freedom to practice whatever religion you choose... you do NOT have the right to discriminate based on your beliefs, if you run what is designated as a public accommodation (which this bakery is). Haven't we already gone through this on a zillion old threads?

Quite right. Those that stand up for their beliefs often pay a price. Thank God there are still those that have the courage to do so. We wouldn't have a nation if it were not for such people.
