I don't have kids, but I know that anyone who would willingly put something lethal in the hands of children has got to be one hell of a sick puppy.
50 something years ago before you ALL Knowing Liberal Idiots came along, lots of kids were given a 22 rifle to take lessons in something totally foreign to you, called responsibility.

Depends on if you own a knife(s) and other weapons too. No, one or two firearms does not make you tough or brave....you're barely into it.
Carry a tactical knife too and are ready to use it along with your firearm? That's a lot different. So is shooting 200 rounds a week instead of once or twice a year.
