At first I thought you were talking about Governor Snyder appointing little Hitlers to run cities like Flint and Benton Harbor, but private police? I thought the nutjob Libertarians at CATO said privatizing government services was a good thing???? Cause then the private sector will innovate and create RoboCops just like in the movie (remember that was a privatized Detroit police service). Private sector UH!
We do have a creeping mob rule setting in, but it's primarily due to people like you. Hard line supporters of the GOP. The Supreme Court justices, (mainly right wing like you) have vastly expanded the legitimacy of government secrecy claims so as we can't even bring Obama crimes into court. and the Congress (most all the right wingers like you) have abdicated their responsibility in oversight of the other branches. Standing by and even cheering illegal wars, unconstitutional wiretapping, and assassination lists by the President. Most Dems are bad on this as well , but the only significant opposition to this is coming from a minority of liberal Democrats. And you trash them constantly.
No one is forcing you to stay in this country. Trust me, you are more than free to leave. Good luck in finding a like minded community in the world...maybe afghanistan?
