Uh, read again. My point was if legislators can be bought, why can't I legally sell my vote?
14 of the top 20 donors tilt D, 5 are split roughly equally, and one of the top 20 tilts R. Unions dominate, esp. public sector unions. The NRA comes in at #50 on the list. Now tell me, who is most active in buying politicians?
The NRA is routinely ranked at or close to the top in most powerful DC lobbies. It's not because of their money; they are underfunded, relatively speaking. It's because of their 4 million+ membership and the intensity of those members in defending what they see as a fundamental freedom.
What the OP is in effect saying is that he/she opposes the right of citizens to "petition the Government for a redress of grievances." As usual with these anti gun threads, I predict that OP will skedaddle off and not respond.
And once again I was right. Wutitiz's law: an anti-gun-nut OP will skedaddle when challenged with logic and facts.
The NRA does not print its own money. The money the NRA spends defending the 2nd Amendment is money donated by American Citizens to represent their right to self protection which is being taken away.
At least La Pierra is truthful......as our President lies about how he uses others, wall street, unions, women.....
Really, so you think video games are the reason for mass shootings?
