I think people misconstrue TX ability. Yes, it's large but a nice chunk of its economy is military. You succeed, military pulls out and you're stuck trying make up for it somehow. Will there be some corporations that stay, yes, but there will be some that head back to the US and maybe some that move from the US to TX but will it be enough. Gone will be the federal matching funds, you all do realize the feds match a lot of initiatives. It may not be as fully sustainable as one may think.

I suspect the business people and the sane people of Texas cringe whenever they see this stuff. It does nothing but drive away convention business, tourism and potential relocations.
