Yes, yes and yes.

They all need to abide by the laws they make and be tested for drugs and alcohol each year at random.

I am beginning to think Hillary is an alcoholic with her falling and hitting her head, more than once. Alcoholics do that when they are drunk.

Politicians who are in charge of people's lives like she was certainly need it. When Benghazi was going on and she couldn't get back to learn what was going on? Something was wrong. Sleeping it off? I sure hope the people around these politicians would say something when they are in charge of people's lives.

As a term of employment , yes they should be and periodically.

Additionally, I would make retirement benefits only for those that serve 25 years or more. As to their health care it needs to mirror Obamacare. ...This is the way to make sure you have a good national healthcare system and one that is efficient.

As to recipients, they have found a small rate of use and it is not cost effective.

I'd like to see them take random sobriety tests while they are on the job.

Yes, definitely! I, as an A&P mechanic, had to submit to pre-employment and random drug testing. They, as employees of the citizens, should have to undergo the same thing!
And, while we are at it, they should have to go through a full background check, just like we did when we got a SECRET clearance in the military, before being allowed to take office. If they can't be granted a SECRET clearance, they should not be allowed in office!

Lightbulb Should all Politicians be Drug Tested?

No.

Just all members of congress and all members of every state legislature. They should also be required to pass an exit-level HS standardized test, like all kids have to do these days. These individuals should all be expected to be able to operate at least on a HS level.
