I have. And I have asked the question from gay marriage supporters, because they always say it's all about benefits. I asked them it they would let go off gay marriage if they were given the same benegits without marriage, but they are not happy with that, which means the whole benefits argument is nothing but a smoke screen.

I mean, they were offered and had EQUAL accomodations under the law, right? Separate and equal. Should have been happy with that.

Really? The oldest book is the epic of Gilgamesh or the RigVeda (depending on which expert you ask). Where does either discuss marriage? The oldest printed book is the Diamond Sutra, can you quote what it says regarding marriage?
