Women with guns? Especially if they're carrying them around in public? That's a scary thought....

What's scarier than a woman with a gun? A man.

Around 90% of all homicides, where the gender of the perp is known, are committed by men. Women aren't the problem here.

That would work better than a gun if you are the Fly.

A man who is protecting his family doesn't really have the need for a gun outside of the home/car. Sure, he might carry it...but really, I can rest assured that no man, really, is going to lose his cool in public if he's carrying...especially if his motivation is to protect his family. He has it as a defensive measure...and the crazies around shouldn't really ruin that for them.

A woman...I don't know about that one. I mean, they ARE the crazy around. It seems to me that they'd panic and end up doing something stupid...like maybe she's walking home in the middle of the night, and she drops something, a guy who happens to be following her picks it up and starts to run after...the girl panics, and bang, someone is dead....

I'm just saying, women think differently...we know this. Perhaps putting a gun in their hands...is a bit, umm, foolhardy?

(As a side note...what the hell is everyone doing that they feel they need a gun to protect themselves? From what? Yeah I know robbery and rape happen...but I've been around for some time now, and I've never heard of anyone being robbed or raped...maybe I live in a good area, idk...or maybe everyone keeps quiet and I've just been lucky)

Personally, I dislike pink firearms. They are too...cutesy. "ooo...look at me, I'm a girl and I have a pink gun....because I'm a girl". Ugh.

What a joke. I am a WOMAN, a gun owner and a pretty darn good shooter. But I am also responsible and know guns are deadly. And I have a feeling I am not the only one who feels that way.

I like stainless steel myself, its easier to clean and you do not have to touch up the bluing. I am serious about women being armed. Nobody should be a victim.

That's why you never see mine "in public", so you don't have to think.

What the hell is wrong with you? My hollow-point loaded .38 fits perfectly in my feminine little purse. It is not for show and tell. Guaranteed there wouldn't be one man complaining if the SHTF and I'm the only one armed -- in a public place.

Umm...spent much time around women? Let alone women shooters? Gender doesn't have anything to do with anything here. I could get into all kinds of comparisons, judgement ability, reaction times, eye hand coordination etc. No need. This is an erroneous premise.

You are stereotyping....bad. Not all women are chittering mall rats going goo goo and OMG at every new display at Forever 21. Personally, if I were a goblin, I would rather face a man with a gun than a woman. Particularly if the targeted lady has a child with her.

You need to get out more. Nuf said...

.
I think that's what the OP was saying. A mama bear with a gun or some paranoid hello kitty pink gun girl is more likely to have a hair trigger finger thinking everyone is the boogeyman.

Guns are now being marketed as "sexy" and trendy to attract *young* women. Gross. You either take guns seriously or you don't.
