I say no. I think it's perfectly reasonable to have dating racial preferences. It doesn't mean you're a racist. What do you think?

Didn't we just have one of these threads a few days ago???

No, having a dating preference isn't racism.... as much as many people here say it is........They need to consult a dictionary and get the proper definition of racism.

Dont think its racist, just find it ignorant:

Adjective
Lacking knowledge or awareness in general; uneducated or unsophisticated.
Lacking knowledge, information, or awareness about something in particular: "ignorant of astronomy".

Oh, and I find it extremely limiting. But hey, some people are deathly afraid of change, stepping outside their comfort zone. I find that unattractive.

No, you cannot help who you are and are not attracted to. You may be with this person the rest of your life. If her being the same skin color is important to you, knock yourself out.

For me, skin color has nothing to do with a person I chose to marry. It has to do with culture. I need the same or very similar culture. I have rejected dating someone who's culture is too far from mine. It had nothing to do with racism.

It isn't refusing to date outside of your race that makes you suspect, it is telling people over and over again.
